Kathy Brown "... Now one year later, I’m so glad I took the plunge. Yes, it was hard at first. Muscles I didn’t even know I had were sore. However, as the weeks went on, I got stronger and stronger. I didn’t need to lose any weight, but I did need to tone up my body. I have dropped one pant size, and I’m happy with the way look now.
But I want to address a bigger benefit I have received from boot camp…
I have osteoarthritis and had been taking prescription medicine for many years. By August, 2007 I cut the dosage in half, and by October I didn’t need the medication anymore. I have more energy during the day and sleep better at night. Losing weight is great, but improved health is even better!!
Cliff is an amazing trainer. The workouts he writes are doable for EVERYONE—no matter what your fitness level. While he is a great motivator, the major motivation comes from within. He uses a phrase that I like to repeat often:
“Don’t cheat yourself.” I get out of my workouts exactly what I put into them.
If you are reading this thinking that you are too old, or too out of shape to do this type of exercise program, think again. You CAN be a Boot Camper if you are ready to make some positive changes in yourself.
