Our History

Cliff Latham: About 5 years ago, I went out to a local park and began designing a boot camp, but never put the process into action. I realized how beneficial it could be, holding a large group of people accountable, for a designated period of time, but I was so busy with our studios, store and other projects, that it never got off the ground.

This past Spring during a conversation with John Spencer Ellis, from Ocean County, CA, at a conference, as well as my friend Kelli Calabrese in Argyle, TX (Dallas) (www.arglyebootcamp.com) and Brian Calkins in Cincinnati, OH (www.cincinnatibootcamp.com), I saw the immediate impact they were having with their Adventure Boot Camps. Why reinvent the wheel? John let me in on his whole process and system - the Adventure Boot Camp - and within 3 weeks, it was born in College Station.

My friend, Dr. John Spencer Ellis has been an innovator in the fitness industry for more than half his life. He began his life of fitness at age 12, and has continually educated himself in the areas of fitness, sports conditioning, medical advancements, education and business.
